The NJSBA event kicked off Wednesday with a keynote address from Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno           (pictured) at the opening business session. Her remarks were  immediately followed by a panel discussion “The Equal Rights Amendment: Why it Matters and Why Now?,” which  included Sen. Linda Greenstein, and Roberta W. Harris, founding chair of the ERA Task Force.
With over 2,700 lawyers and judges in attendance, the NJSBA convention is the premiere gathering of the state’s legal community

Rising Up the Ladder: Gender/Equity Issues for New Jersey's Female Attorneys
Women in the Profession Section (Women in the Profession Track)
This program provided  insight into the objective statistics regarding the advancement of women lawyers into the highest levels of private practice. The program explored career development, self- firms. Panelists presented and discussed the National Association of Women Lawyers' (NAWL) 2015 Survey of Retention and Promotion of Women in Law Firms as well as the 2015 Report by the Executive Women of New Jersey.promotion, work-life balance, office etiquette and generational issues as they pertain to women within law
