NJSBA Convention 2017 Prisoner Reentry Training for Lawyers 2017

Prisoner Reentry Training for Lawyers 2017
CRIMINAL LITIGATION TRACK/YOUNG LAWYERS TRACK
Young Lawyers Division and New Jersey State Bar Foundation
This popular yearly program is back in 2017 with the latest highlights concerning the legal needs of prisoners who are reentering society after serving time. Outstanding motor vehicle fines, housing and tenancy issues, issues with child support payments and other problems may prevent them from re-entering the workforce and facilitate recidivism.
Join former Governor James E. McGreevey, Jersey City Employment & Training Program Reentry Manager John Koufos and others as they focus on solutions that will enable ex-convicts to go back to work and become productive and law-abiding members of society.

Speakers:
Governor James E. McGreevey, Executive Director
Jersey City Employment & Training Program
John G. Koufos, Deputy Reentry Director
Jersey City Employment & Training Program
President, New Jersey Reentry Corporation, Jersey City, Newark, Paterson, Kearney and Toms River
